Per your request, I spent the down week creating another bullshit new metric to sift through a few hundred potential striker targets, ranking the best possible summer options for Arsenal
Great analysis as ever. This summer is going to be very interesting, but let’s enjoy what we’ve got this season they’re good enough to win big prizes imo.
Joshua Zirkzee is the one that makes sense to me. With these high price tags I see for the top 3 (understandably), I get the Auba feeling in terms of production with drama as a trade-off.
I like Toney at £50m range, but I really want a more mid-younger profile, someone who has the potential to be a world class player (Toney hardly will be). I look to Openda and see some Aubameyang qualities: quick as hell and good finisher, maybe better with headers and with the weak foot. But, given all the players on the table, Osimhen is the best for us. If he is not available to our budget, I'd go for Openda.
Ferguson need to be more tested. I don't know if Arsenal can develop a player for two, three years, though his celling is the highest. The same with Sesko. Our project is now/tomorrow.

Great read as always Billy. I am a little surprised Boniface didn’t come out higher to be honest. That Sesko release clause though...
