Shout out to “t”. I really like the direction you are taking here. A winning combination: a data analytics guy and a scribe. What more could I ask for?

Perfect prep for the big one tomorrow! Almost split equally between being excited and terrified. Thanks for another insightful piece Billy. Hope someone at Arsenal is taking notes on how to disrupt this City machine 😄

Billy, your analysis was spot on again. We completely stifled Rodri and neutralized City. Guadiola was way too conservative and City only looked dangerous after he brought on Doku and Grealish (but both lack vision on final pass). We created most goal potential on bursts of aggressive press or when White committed forward. Main problem looked to be Raya’s inability to hit mid-range passes (although Haveartz was immense again). Need more from Kiwior position to threaten more?

Great article! Just to say in the gif used when discussing Havertz success against Dias, it appears to be John Stones who is challenging for the ball.

The point was that Dias was so scared of him that he avoided him. Or at least that’s the story I’m going with now 😂

Lovely stuff Billy. KDB can be what Rodri is intended to link up with Foden. Also 1v1 is another consideration as a suspense for us.

That said who would you start on the left Martinelli or Trossard?

Martinelli if fully healthy for sure
