Post-Wolves and pre-Villa, we look at Arsenal’s build-up (including the second-half problems), Saka (!!!) and Martinelli, Kai’s ascent, quick restarts, switches, Merino, Timber, and much more
Great writeup! I loved the gif of the first goal - I hadn't before noticed Gabriel trucking it from right to left across the top of the box to get in position. Hilarious and amazing
I’d say Timber isn’t really likely as he gets back to speed (going against Bailey on the wing isn’t exactly easing him in) but who knows, just sharing a general preference. The reason why you’d do Havertz is because of those stretching shoulder runs from LCM against a line like this (with somebody else occupying the 9), like we saw against Leverkusen. If pulls a midfielder away and opens up the box, and tests the solidity of the line.
But that news took care of itself — sounds like Jesus is out. Odds are unchanged XI
Yeah. Worrying that Jesus is injured again. I think you are probably right that we will see an unchanged lineup. And I know he’s just back from injury but on paper having Timber against Bailey as opposed to Zinchenko seems the better deal. What about Calafiori? Him we at least know is fit hehe. Would be wild.

The Spanish opening surely.
‘…Saka, briefly mystified that he was 1v1, destroyed it to the near-post in seconds’

Yeah, his movement in those second and third sequences after corners is always fun. He wants goals so bad 😂
Excellent as always
If we want to win the league, we must consistently control the second ball.
I definitely want to see Timber start left today as well, but I don’t understand why you want Partey out and Havertz at 8. Care to elaborate?
