Examining an uproarious win, including: the hidden benefits of bigness; the evolving defensive structures; the inevitable mistake; the Zinchenko/Rice pairing; and how to unlock the middle
Really good feel for the game 👏🏾
I too am a touch worried about a lack of central progression but Jesus is coming 😀
Simply put - the best source of Arsenal content out there
Brilliant read as per usual. Feel like I'm sat in the post match debrief at Colney. Excellent work Billy.
These pieces are really wonderful, always look forward to them. Thank you.

Sensational read. Everything I wanted and more.
Was really interesting seeing the comparison with our stats from last year. I'm really glad you added that. Looks like we are indeed controlling more now
I always want to comment and never do, but I want to say that I thoroughly enjoy these reads. Also, the fact that us being a bigger team gives Martinelli an andvantage when dribbling caught me off guard and amazed me lol. Thank you for taking the time to write these.
"Rice interprets the role a bit more like Jorginho than Partey"..
Good call here. Remembered this today as comments have come out from Rice talking about Jorginho being the player who has surprised him the most.
Another really good analysis.
I see little difference between United’s approach to playing us than that of Forest. Similarly I’ve felt this in our previous 2 league encounters, and yet the games remain nerve-janglingly tight. Surely it’s only a matter of time before we completely pan them based on the current trajectory of both teams?
Love your content so far.
FYI you say that opponents are attempting more shots on target this year, but the table says the opposite.
