Have loved your articles this season, Billy. Helped me so much to get through an arduous title charge where it seemed everyone wants us to lose to City.

As you said, one more, then it’s back to Arsenal fans’ day job; yelling at each other about transfers.

If you don’t enjoy the journey in football, your life will mostly be miserable.

This may be weird as I am a Spurs fan however I have thoroughly enjoyed reading your articles this season, I am a football fan first and Arsenal have been a great watch especially when identifying things you have written within the game I am watching. I have learnt a lot from your analysis and am watching football with a more tactical eye which is really enjoyable! Great stuff

Thanks for another great article. Whatever happens this weekend I have reminded myself to savor this season. We took City to the very last day with something like the 3rd youngest team in the Prem, we’ve accumulated points enough to have won the league in other eras not dominated by the sky blue juggernaut. This is a team we can, and should be proud to call our own. I believe we will be in the conversation for top of the league and Europe again next season. Of course, there’s room for improvement, but how can you not love these fellas? COYG!

Just watching Ødegaard play is so pleasing to the eye. The style and grace, and economy of touches of the ball. In other sports (notably Cricket and Tennis) we talk a lot more about style (Mark Waugh or Federder come to mind), curiously not so much in football?
